Coole Cody looked set for second place in the novice hurdle before flinging his young jockey into the turf.
Thankfully horse and rider emerged unhurt from their acrobatics.
The race was won by 9-4 favourite Any Drama but it was Coole Cody and Cobden who had racegoers on the edge of their seats.
Cobden is fortunate, as other fellow jockeys have not been so fortunate.

Freddy Tylicki remains in the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre after he was injured in a four-horse pile-up at Kempton Park last October.

Cobden is one of the best young jockeys in Britain.
He grew up near Wincanton, and started riding ponies at the age of nine.
Champion trainer Paul Nicholls spotted his talent and by 13 he was riding for the team.
