Tiger and Lindsey started dating in 2012 and ended things in May 2015. At the time Lindsey shared the news on Facebook, writing, “After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together.

The Olympian reflected on their breakup in a 2016 interview with E! News, saying, “It was really hard. The breakup, being together, it was all really hard. It was essentially being in a fishbowl. Everybody’s looking at you and judging you and commenting on what they think is right or wrong and it was hard.”
She added, “But that’s one thing that made me stronger. Being able to block out the noise and block out other people’s opinions, and honestly, it doesn’t matter what anybody else thinks as long as you’re happy.”
